We specialize in a wide range of building design projects for residential developments. Our expertise covers new builds, extensions, renovations, and conversions. We also redevelop and landscape outdoor spaces.

This depends on the size and scale of the project. A large-scale project often involves an architect at the very start, who takes care of design factors which will sometimes require our input. When planning is required we work with the architect and a planning consultant to move this forward. When planning is complete we work with a quantity surveyor to cost the project. Once this has been agreed, we move on to contracts and project timeline.

For a smaller project such as a single internal room, we arrange a site visit to chat about the requirements, take down the room dimensions and create an example of how the room could look. This is usually fine-tuned at a follow-up meeting. At this point we will cost the project. If this is accepted, a deposit is issued and the project progresses to working drawings and an installation date.

The timeline for any project will vary, depending on the scope and complexity: a single room refurbishment will obviously be much quicker than a whole home and for projects needing planning permission this additional time must be factored in. In general, initial design and planning stages might take 2-3 months. Construction timelines can range from several months to a year, or more. Once we have discussed the details of your project we will provide a detailed project timeline so you will know what to expect, and when the project should be complete. Wherever possible, it is always sensible to have an element of leeway in case of unforeseen delays which are out of our hands.

Yes, we provide full support with planning applications and ensure all designs comply with current building regulations. Our team is experienced in navigating the planning process and will work closely with local authorities to secure the necessary approvals.

Whilst we have plenty of in-house expertise and experience, we also call on our established network of local experts as needed. Whether that is architects or engineers, garden plant knowledge or niche know-how such as AV for a home cinema, we will put together the right team specific to the individual project requirement.
