After correcting an uneven floor and strengthening the substructure, porcelain tiles were installed alongside a centrally placed bath, providing symmetry and balance. A level-access wet floor shower was built with a bespoke glass enclosure, complemented by Hansgrohe fittings. A wall cavity was adapted to house a smart bathroom television, with audio fully integrated into a Sonos system and ceiling speakers.
A previously hidden fireplace was uncovered and enhanced with a reproduction Victorian surround, adding character to the space. New plaster coving was fitted to maintain the period feel, while underfloor heating and feature lighting—including motion-activated low-level lights—provide everyday comfort. Laufen sanitaryware and bespoke furniture complete this sophisticated, light-filled bathroom.
