The in-house design from Vision incorporates hidden storage and display space, a walk in shower, a generously-sized freestanding bath, plus lighting scenes at the push of a button.
Underfloor heating was installed with ultimate user comfort in mind, overlaid with an attractive, pleasurable to walk on floor finish of wood-effect porcelain tile.
The bathroom benefits from bespoke furniture including an oak display cabinet with glass shelving and an under-basin oak cupboard with tiled countertop. Walls are clad in 600 x 1200 porcelain tiles. In the shower and adjacent to the bath, split-face effect stone tiles provide an unusual finish.
Other features include:
A large mirror above the bath along with the glass shower divide adds to the impression of space and light. Overall the design offers warm inviting tones, luxurious touches and practical flourishes.
While the initial design was created for the existing room size, once work commenced it became apparent that the most recent conversion had made poor use of the space; the property has two cavity walls so we were able to incorporate extra space within the internal wall. This enabled the countertop to be extended, with the team carefully seamlessly marrying the countertop to the furniture below.
The client is delighted with the stylish look of the upgraded bathroom and shower room, perfect for daily use and for guests staying at their home.
