Vision acquired this site in Clyst St Mary for complete regeneration into Clear Water Court. The historic building was carefully renovated and re-purposed to meet modern-day tastes and needs. The collection of four individual properties with private parking stand within a secure, gated cul-de-sac offering privacy and security.

Initially a large amount of demolition work was required, both to prepare the way for the new build properties and to make the existing buildings safe. The site had a long history and was classified as an industrial brownfield location. It had many uses over the years which included use as a print works, resulting in a contaminated area that required a considerable amount of effort and expertise to make safe in a responsible manner. Once this work was completed the full regeneration of the site could begin.

Two of the properties were built from the ground up and the other two stripped back to a safe structure – and reimagined entirely.

Each plot was designed to have its own character containing unique features and appointments. A modern aesthetic provided the overall design theme incorporating clean lines and contemporary finishing.

Other features included natural slate roofing, responsibly sourced FSC larch cladding and wet rooms. The homes benefit from unusual highlights such as bespoke ash and glass staircases and bathrooms are equipped with rainfall shower systems with glazed screens. Both the bathrooms and kitchens were individually designed complete with appliances.

The ground floor enjoys neutral Moduleo flooring throughout, whilst the stairway and first floor have hard-wearing, quality carpeting. Bathrooms, en-suites and cloak rooms are
finished with ceramic tiles.

With all flooring and carpeting included, these properties were ready to move into immediately.
